The Alchemist River Racer is for those paddlers wanting a do all K1 for wild water river racing,

  rough open water lakes and also looking for a fast relatively stable K1 on the flat-water events.

The Alchemist River Racer has the same K1 style cockpit / combing as the flat water Alchemists but with much more volume in the front deck allowing it to cut through waves and run dry. .

The other upside of the higher front deck is that there is a mile of foot room. 

 Standard features;

White gelcoat hull. Deck with one or two colours in gelcoat.
All kayaks have outside glass join, Kevlar internal join. (Except all glass kayaks have glass inside join)
Four bolt adjustable footrest.
Polystyrene foam bouncy glassed in.
4 bolt platform seat with 3 seat choices.

Prices;

Prices indicate one full layer of the named material. Layup will also contain full layers plus sections of fibreglass, carbon, Kevlar and core materials depending on the construction requested.

Kevlar hull/ fibreglass deck $3000 (Carbon reinforced around cockpit.)

Kevlar hull/ carbon deck $3200. (Also has carbon reinforcing in the hull.)

Carbon hull / carbon deck $3450.

Options;

Single bolt pan seat. ($100 cheaper.)

Underslung or trailing rudder (Trailing rudder add $85).

Tiller bar or pedal steering (pedal steering add $20).
